YES (ANAPHYLAXIS)
- Ciprofloxacin or levofloxacin PO, 10-14 day course (Class II)
- Do not use in pregnancy
- If also Cipro allergic, hospital transfer for consideration of parenteral antibiotics
NO or MILD
Second generation (cefaclor) or third generation (cefpodoxime, cefdinir) cephalosporin PO, 10-14 day course (Class II)
